"In the beginning god"

The tragedy of present-day humanity is that mankind is not aware of its power nor of its real Source, for if it were aware of these things man could not possibly slaughter other men in his barbarous unholy wars.

The time is now for man to know his first need is to know God's universe for what it really is instead of what his senses have made him to believe it is.  "The universe was not created at some remote past time by some vast cosmic event, as commonly believed, nor is it condemned to a heat-death by expansion into nothingness" Dr. Walter Russell.

"In the Beginning God" - The opening words of the book of Genesis strike the keynote of the whole record of the divine revelation.  It was God who created the heavens and the earth; it was God who prepared a habitation for mankind; it was God who fashioned the human race and guided the destinies of men and nations.  It was this living personal God who spoke to chosen men through direct personal encounter, calling them to perform special tasks and promising to bestow upon them special blessings.  Thus according to the Bible all that is of final significance in the history of man is due to the initiative and purposeful activity of the living God himself.

But why should God have spoken?  Unless God had revealed himself and his will, men could never have known him or his purpose.
